Ithaca Underground Volunteer Leadership
Ithaca Underground (IU) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that seeks to create an inclusive all-ages environment for music and arts to flourish. We are a 100% volunteer run collective organization, which includes our leadership team and board of directors.
Ithaca Underground is seeking Volunteer Coordinators to help organize our events and volunteers. We currently have needs in all four of our main committees: Booking, Development, Logistics, and Outreach.
Each Committee currently has an experienced Committee Coordinator, who will work closely with a new Co-Coordinator to bring them up to speed with their new role.
IU Committee Coordinators work mostly remotely, and as such need to keep in close communication. A Committee Coordinator is expected to be responsive to emails, and Slack messages (our instant-message communication platform).
Read more about each of the Committee Coordinator positions below, and let us know if you're interested in joining up!
While the Committee Coordinator role is an unpaid volunteer position, we are able to offer academic credit to students who are eligible for internships through their school.
